Adults emerge: from June to August
Wood attacked: hard and soft woods (both conifers and deciduous)
Materials: wooden structures, beams, flooring, skirting boards, furniture, wicker products, and recently produced plywood.
Larval burrows: meandering, without changes due to moulds.
Frass: rare, granular, with lemon-shaped balls.
Exit holes: numerous, circular in shape, with a diameter of 1 - 1.5 mm.
