DAMAGE: One of the most dangerous termites to structures and wooden furniture in apartment houses and museums. The burrows are very wide and clear of any trace of excrement which have a hexagonal barrel cross-section, like Kalotermes flavicollis, but, unlike the latter, they have slightly sunken faces.
